Our
Name
Baya draws inspiration from its namesake ‘the weaverbird’, a small yellow species, renowned for its exceptional nest weaving skills. Found throughout the Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Asia, the Baya constructs highly elaborate nests from grass stems and other plant fibres. The name reflects our appreciation for the woven and handcrafted, it also connects with the concept of homemaking and impeccable design.
